Boiler heating element rated 3700 W at 220 V, 570 mm long and supplied complete with its fixing nuts. It is made for the boilers of three-group Astoria machines and is the part that sustains all the steam and hot water the equipment produces. Fits Astoria and AE three-group machines.
It is specified for the boilers of three-group Astoria and AE machines. Before ordering, confirm the 3700 W rating, the 220 V supply and the 570 mm length of the element currently fitted.
Are the nuts included?
Yes, the element is supplied with its fixing nuts. Even so, the flange sealing gasket should always be replaced at the same time, as it hardens with heat and rarely seals a second time.
What are the signs of a burnt-out element?
The machine stops heating or takes far too long to build pressure, the breaker trips, or a continuity test gives no reading. In many cases the cause is a lack of water from a failed level probe.
How do I avoid burning out the new element?
By making sure the boiler never runs dry: a clean level probe, working automatic filling and descaling kept up to date. Scale insulates the element and drives it far above its normal temperature.
