Portafilter body for Astoria machines in the CMA group pattern, with a 58 mm basket, M12 handle thread and a 3/8″ spout outlet. The body is supplied on its own, without handle, basket or spout. A direct replacement for a cracked body or a worn handle thread.
It is made for Astoria portafilters, in the CMA group pattern. Confirm that your machine takes a 58 mm basket and an M12 handle thread before ordering.
What is included?
The portafilter body only. Handle, basket and spout are not included, so you can reuse the ones that are still in good condition.
What do the 58 mm and the M12 thread mean?
58 mm is the basket diameter, the size most widely used on professional machines; M12 is the thread the handle screws into. The spout outlet is 3/8″.
When is the portafilter body replaced?
When it is cracked after a fall, when the handle thread has become loose, or when it no longer seats properly against the group gasket and lets water past the side.
