Small 3/8″ double portafilter spout — 24.5 mm height

Double outlet spout for the portafilter, with a 3/8″ connection and a height of only 24.5 mm, splitting the shot into two even streams. It is a wear part of routine servicing, replaced once the channels clog with scale and coffee oils or the chrome starts to lift. Fits Gaggia, Brasilia, Nuova Simonelli and Vibiemme.
It fits portafilters with a 3/8″ threaded seat, the size used by Gaggia, Brasilia, Nuova Simonelli, Vibiemme and many similar office and cafe models. Just check the thread on the spout currently fitted.
What are its dimensions?
A 3/8″ threaded connection and 24.5 mm in height, the small version. That low profile leaves more clearance between portafilter and cup, which helps on compact machines.
Why is it treated as a wear part?
The spout is in constant contact with hot, acidic coffee and is rarely stripped down between services. Over time the bore narrows with residue and the plating loses its grip, which affects both flow and hygiene.
How is it replaced?
With the portafilter removed and cool, unscrew the spout anticlockwise, clean the thread on the body and fit the new spout by hand, finishing with a light turn of a spanner.
