Astoria / Brasilia group gicleur — 0.7 mm, M5 thread
Part no. ET-100370
Brass group gicleur with a calibrated 0.7 mm orifice and an M5 × 1 thread, a replacement part. This orifice is what limits the water entering the brew group and holds pre-infusion pressure within the range the maker intended. Fits Astoria and Brasilia BE series groups.
It is a calibrated orifice that restricts water entering the group. By limiting flow it shapes pre-infusion behaviour and helps spread water across the whole coffee puck before pressure builds.
What calibre and thread does it have?
It has a 0.7 mm orifice and an M5 × 1 thread, in brass. The calibre is decisive: a larger hole passes too much flow and a smaller one chokes the shot, so it must match the calibre the machine came with.
Does it fit Astoria and Brasilia?
Yes, it is intended for Astoria and Brasilia BE series groups. Before ordering, the safest step is to remove the fitted gicleur and confirm the thread and orifice diameter.
Is this a compatible replacement part?
Yes, it is a brass replacement part with the orifice calibrated during machining rather than drilled afterwards. It is supplied as a compatible part, with no agency relationship with the machine brand.
When should it be replaced?
Whenever scale has narrowed the orifice, which shows up as low flow and long extractions, or when the thread no longer tightens. It is an inexpensive part and cleaning it belongs in routine servicing.
