8.90 × 2.7 mm O-ring in NSF-certified FKM Viton®, sealing the gicleur in the Faema brew group and small-bore fittings. The fluoroelastomer is rated to 200 °C and resists descaling products. It is the part that keeps group flow steady and free of internal leaks.

What does the NSF certification mean?
It means the material is approved for contact with drinking water and with the beverage circuit, which is required of any seal sitting in the coffee line.
Why does such a small seal matter?
The gicleur sets the water flow entering the group. With a worn O-ring some water passes alongside it, showing up as pressure loss or an internal leak that is hard to trace.
