Why Viton® (FKM) rather than ordinary rubber?
FKM copes better with constant heat, hot water and group steam, and stays elastic for longer. It is a quality replacement part.
When should it be replaced?
When water leaks at the group, or when the o-ring is flattened, hardened or nicked. Lubricate it with food-grade grease before fitting and never force it into place.
