Rossi and Brasilia grinder burrs 63.5 mm — left-hand rotation, 8 mm shaft
Part no. ET-100279
Pair of 63.5 mm flat burrs with left-hand rotation and an 8 mm shaft bore, for Rossi and Brasilia coffee grinders. Many of these classic grinders still have a sound motor and body — what wears out is the cutting edge. Confirm diameter, shaft bore and rotation before ordering.
It is intended for Rossi and Brasilia grinders with 63.5 mm flat burrs, an 8 mm shaft bore and left-hand rotation. Measure the current burrs and confirm the bore before ordering.
Why does the 8 mm bore matter?
It is the diameter of the shaft passing through the moving burr. With a different bore the burr runs off centre, vibrates and wears unevenly — and the grind never settles.
What does left-hand rotation mean?
It is the direction in which the motor turns. Burr faces are cut for one direction; a pair of the wrong hand crushes the coffee instead of slicing it.
When should burrs be replaced?
When one dose contains both fine dust and gritty particles, when the dose takes longer to fall and comes out warm, or when the setting needs adjusting every day.
