Double portafilter in polished chrome-plated brass for La Cimbali XP1 and M39 machines, supplied with the classic style two-outlet spout already fitted. The black handle has a chromed cap and the polished finish stands up well to counter damp. It is supplied without basket and without retaining spring, which are carried over from the previous portafilter.
It is built for La Cimbali XP1 machines and fits the M39 as well. Confirm the model, because La Cimbali groups change from one series to the next.
What is included?
It comes complete, with the polished chrome-plated brass body, the black handle with chromed cap, and the classic style double spout already fitted. It does not include the basket or the retaining spring.
What is the difference between a classic and an open spout?
The classic spout has both outlets enclosed in a single body, which shelters the jet and cuts splashing on the counter. The open spout lets you watch the coffee run.
When is replacement worthwhile?
When the portafilter is loose in the group, when there are leaks around the spout, when the handle no longer tightens, or when the plating is flaking and cleaning no longer helps.
