Group outlet pressure-relief assembly (spout breaker), 35 mm long version, in chrome-plated brass with a 1/8″ female thread. At the end of the shot it cuts the flow and releases the pressure held behind the puck, so the portafilter comes off without splatter. Compatible with Vibiemme (VBM) and Brasilia groups.

What does this part do?
At the end of each shot, it cuts the water and releases the pressure left behind the coffee puck, so the portafilter comes off clean, without spraying grounds.

It is brass with a chrome finish, resistant to the pressure and heat of the group, at 35 mm total length.
How do I know it needs replacing?
If the grounds stay soaked, coffee sprays when opening the portafilter, or there is a leak at the group outlet, the assembly is blocked or worn.
