What do the Long Life version and Ø 63.5 mm change?
Long Life resists wear better (more kilos before replacement); the larger diameter grinds faster and cooler, which helps to preserve the coffee's aroma.
When should the burrs be changed?
A slower, uneven grind, more fines (dust) and hotter coffee at the outlet are signs of worn burrs that no longer cut well.
Do I change the pair and re-adjust?
Yes. Change both burrs together and re-adjust the grind from coarse to fine, pulling a few test shots to the ideal point.
