Will it fit my machine?
It fits most three-phase machines with a safety thermostat of the same class. Confirm the cut-out temperature, the 30 A/400 V and the terminal type against the current part.
What is the 169 °C cut-out?
It is the last line of protection: well above working temperature, it cuts the heating-element circuit if the pressure switch or control thermostat fail and the boiler overheats.
It has tripped; can I just reset it?
Cause first, reset second. A trip always points to a problem upstream (a stuck pressure switch, no water, scale). Resetting without fixing it will trip again.
Can I fit it myself?
Only with three-phase experience — it works at 400 V and 30 A. Otherwise, hand it to a technician, who replaces it and diagnoses the cause together.
