Nuova Simonelli Appia II complete steam wand — for Black Eagle
Part no. ET-100323
Complete steam wand in stainless steel, in the later model version, for Nuova Simonelli Appia II machines. The same part is listed for the Victoria Arduino Black Eagle. Replace the assembly when the joint has play or loses steam, and when the tip's spray pattern no longer textures milk as it once did.
This assembly was designed for the Appia II and is equally listed for the Victoria Arduino Black Eagle. On other generations the joint and wand length can differ, so it is best to send us the exact machine model before ordering the part.
What is it made of?
The wand is stainless steel, which resists steam, milk and daily cleaning without corroding. The remaining details are listed in the specification table on this page.
Is it worth replacing the assembly rather than just the seals?
If the leak persists after new seals are fitted, the ball and joint seat are already worn and the complete assembly is the lasting fix. The same applies to a bent wand, which changes the working angle and soon creates play again.
How is it replaced?
Switch off the machine and wait until boiler pressure is fully released. Undo the joint nut with the correct spanner, remove the old assembly, fit the new wand with new seals and tighten evenly. Then confirm free movement, the absence of leaks and the spray pattern using a jug of water.
How do I make the new wand last?
Two habits are enough: a short steam purge and a damp cloth after every texturing, plus a weekly clean of the tip with the holes cleared. Dried milk is the main cause of wear. Request a quote using the form on this page.
