Will it fit my pump?
It fits most Fluid-o-Tech rotary pumps with a piston bypass. As it is universal, confirm the shape and size of the current piston before ordering.
What does the bypass piston do?
It regulates pressure: it returns the excess to hold the output steady at 9 bar. If it is worn or stuck, the pressure becomes unstable.
Why change the piston and not the pump?
It is the quicker, more economical route: it restores pressure regulation without replacing the whole pump.
How do I know the piston is the problem?
Pressure swings that the bypass screw does not correct usually point to a worn or stuck piston; check the output pressure with a gauge.
