Two-way normally closed solenoid valve with 1/8″ threaded ports at inlet and outlet and a calibrated DN 2.5 mm orifice. The seal is Viton®, an elastomer with high heat resistance, and the body is supplied without a coil. It accepts ZB09-12 and YB09-12 coils, so the one already fitted can be reused.
No, only the body is supplied. It accepts ZB09-12 and YB09-12 coils, so an existing coil can be reused if it is sound and its voltage matches the installation.
What ports and orifice does it have?
It has 1/8″ threads at inlet and outlet and a calibrated DN 2.5 mm orifice. The larger calibre passes more flow than group control valves, which suits it to filling and water circuits.
Why a Viton® seal?
Viton® is a fluorinated elastomer that tolerates high temperatures and stands up well to hot water and circuit cleaning products. It ages far more slowly than ordinary rubber in the same position.
What does two-way normally closed mean?
It is a simple shut-off valve with one inlet and one outlet, held closed without current and opening when the coil is energised. It has no pressure relief port, unlike the three-way valves on the group.
