MS-type group shower screen for La Cimbali and Faema E91, made in Italy. It spreads the water evenly over the coffee puck for a balanced extraction. Compatible with the La Cimbali and Faema E91 group and also with Astoria, BFC, Brasilia and Sanremo.
It is for the E91 group of La Cimbali and Faema (and equivalent groups from Astoria, BFC, Brasilia and Sanremo). As there is more than one E91 screen, confirm the hole pattern against the current one.
What is the difference between the MS and the Caulked?
Both are for the E91 group, but they differ in the rim and the seating. To choose well, compare the model and hole pattern of the current screen.
Why does the shower screen matter?
It splits the water jet into dozens of fine streams to wet the puck evenly; if the holes clog, the water channels and the coffee loses balance.
When should it be replaced?
When backflushing and cleaning no longer clear the holes, or when the plate is warped and the water comes out crooked.
