La Spaziale double filter basket 14 g — 27.5 mm height
Part no. ET-100197
La Spaziale double filter basket for a 14 g dose, 27.5 mm tall, with 65 mm outer and 53.5 mm inner diameters. A stainless-steel filter for the S-family portafilters, where the precision of the holes shapes extraction quality. A direct replacement for a worn basket.
It is for La Spaziale S-family portafilters (e.g. S2, S5, S8, S9 and S5–S9 Compact). Standard 58 mm baskets do not fit this brand.
What are its dimensions?
It measures 65 mm outer diameter, 53.5 mm inner diameter and 27.5 mm in height — the sizing of La Spaziale S-family portafilters.
What is the ideal dose?
It is optimised for 14 g as a double. The 27.5 mm height gives the correct gap between the coffee and the shower screen, with no contact and no dead space.
How do I know the basket is worn?
Faster extraction with the same grind, fine grounds in the cup and holes that look widened or misshapen against the light all mean it is time to replace.
