La Cimbali single portafilter spout, stainless steel — for M22 and M20
Part no. ET-100334
Single-outlet spout for La Cimbali portafilters, in stainless steel, listed for the M20 and M22 models. It gathers the coffee leaving the portafilter into one stream, aimed at the centre of the cup and with no splashing on the tray. Stainless steel stays smooth and easy to clean, which prevents coffee oil from building up in the internal passage.
It is listed for La Cimbali portafilters, in particular the M20 and M22 models. The spout thread and the number of outlets have to match the portafilter you use behind the bar; compare the part once removed, or send us a photograph of the assembly.
What is the difference between a single and a double spout?
A single spout delivers the whole shot as one stream, into one cup or a larger glass. A double spout splits the flow into two streams, to serve two cups at once. The basket and the dose do not change with the spout: only the way the coffee is divided changes.
What is it made of?
Stainless steel, which neither taints the cup nor corrodes under constant contact with coffee and hot water. The smooth surface makes the internal passage easier to clean, and that is where coffee oil collects and turns rancid if it is left.
How often should it be cleaned?
Weekly at least: unscrew the spout from the portafilter, soak it in a detergent made for espresso equipment and run a fine brush through the internal passage. Rinse well and tighten by hand, without tools, so the thread is not damaged.
When should the spout be replaced?
When the stream runs crooked or splashes, when the thread no longer tightens properly, or when the inside is scored and will not come clean again. Request a quote using the form on this page; we ship to Portugal and throughout Europe.
