What does right-hand rotation mean?
It states the direction the cutting edge was ground for. It has to match the rotation of the grinder motor; with the wrong hand, the grind comes out uneven and the burrs wear very quickly.
How do I know the burrs are worn?
An uneven grind mixing coarse and fine, slower grinding, grounds hotter than usual and a loss of sweetness in the cup. Sharp burrs bring the consistency back.
