CEME 3-way solenoid valve with base (flange) mounting for professional espresso machines. It runs on 220/230 V (50/60 Hz), 9 W, with a DN 1.5 passage and a synthetic ruby seal that resists wear and heat. The 3-way valve releases the pressure behind the puck at the end of the shot, so the portafilter opens without spraying.
During the shot it opens the water path to the group. At the end it closes that path and opens a third one to release the pressure trapped behind the puck, preventing spray and a soggy puck.
