Parker Lucifer solenoid valve coil, 24 V AC and 9 W. When the valve is sound but dead, the coil is usually burnt out; this replaces it without changing the whole valve. Always confirm 24 V AC on the label.
It is the winding that opens the valve on receiving current. With overvoltage, moisture or long use it heats and burns, while the body and piston stay good.
What are the ratings?
Parker Lucifer brand, 24 V AC (alternating current) and 9 W, to replace the burnt-out coil without changing the whole valve.
Can I use a 24 V DC one?
No. AC and DC windings differ; the wrong fit leaves the valve dead or burns the coil. Confirm the current type on the label.
How do I know it is the coil, not the body?
If, on energising, there is no click and the coil does not warm, it is usually the burnt coil; if there is sound but no water, check the piston and body.
How do I order and where do you ship?
Request a quote with the valve model or a photo. We ship to Portugal and throughout Europe.
