Parker solenoid valve — 20 bar, 220 V

Part no. ET-100347

Three-way normally closed solenoid valve with a ruby seal and a calibrated DN 1.5 mm orifice, rated for working pressures up to 20 bar. It runs on 220/230 V AC at 50/60 Hz and controls water and steam circuits in professional espresso machines. The conical ruby seat keeps the cut-off clean in continuous service.

FAQ

What pressure and voltage does it work at?
It handles working pressures up to 20 bar and runs on 220/230 V AC at 50 or 60 Hz. That range suits high pressure circuits, where ordinary valves begin to weep.
What does a three-way solenoid valve do?
As well as opening and closing the line, the third port releases residual pressure when the valve shuts. That is what lets the group depressurise and stops the puck sitting soaked in the basket after extraction.
What does the ruby seal mean?
The sealing seat is made of synthetic ruby, a very hard material that neither deforms with heat nor scores with scale. Compared with a rubber seat it stays tight for many more cycles.
What are the signs of failure?
A constant leak with the valve shut, a line that will not open despite the board's command, a loud hum from the coil, or unusual heat. When in doubt, test coil continuity and check that the DN 1.5 mm orifice is clear.
How do I order?
Request a quote through the form, stating the machine, the voltage and the number of ports on the valve fitted. We ship from Portugal to the whole of Europe.
