Carimali single filter basket 7 g — 20 mm height, stainless steel
Part no. ET-100231
Single filter basket for 7 g in food-grade stainless steel, 20 mm high, with a 59 mm external ridge diameter. The narrower profile concentrates a single dose and keeps the right resistance to the water, avoiding the thin shot you get from an underfilled double basket. It fits Carimali portafilters.
It is made for Carimali portafilters, with a 59 mm external ridge and 20 mm height. Measure the rim diameter of your current basket, as a single millimetre stops the spring from holding.
When does a single basket make sense?
When a single dose of around 7 g is pulled regularly. The single basket has a narrower base, which keeps the coffee bed deep enough to give balanced resistance during extraction.
What is it made of?
Food-grade stainless steel, which leaves the taste of the coffee untouched, handles repeated cleaning cycles and keeps the perforation calibrated over time.
When should it be replaced?
When the base is dented, when oils have blocked the holes and cleaning no longer clears them, or when shots start running fast and thin.
