Single-dose filter basket for 6 to 9 g, 25 mm tall, 66 mm across the rim, 56 mm in the body and with a 57 mm external ridge. The perforated area measures 30 mm and is drilled with conical 0.30 mm holes, then electropolished, which limits oil build-up and keeps the flow even across the whole coffee surface. It is designed for La San Marco lever-group portafilters and takes a 54 mm tamper.
Capacity is 6 to 9 g and the internal body diameter is 56 mm, which suits a 54 mm tamper. At 25 mm tall the coffee bed sits deeper than in a shallow basket, matching the pressure profile of lever groups.

What difference does conical, electropolished drilling make?
The 0.30 mm conically drilled holes give the same resistance at every point of the 30 mm perforated area, and the electropolished surface holds less coffee oil. In practice that means a steadier flow and easier cleaning.
When should a filter basket be replaced?
When grounds appear in the cup although the grind has not changed, when the flow runs off to one side, or when the rim is distorted and no longer seats properly under the group gasket. Under heavy use, include the basket in routine servicing.
