Universal 3000 ml hopper for coffee grinders, 207 mm in diameter and 245 mm tall, which corresponds to roughly 1.5 kg of beans. The body is a transparent impact-resistant polymer that does not chip at the first knock and keeps the bean level in view. It seats on Mazzer, Fiorenzato, Faema, San Marco and Brasilia grinders whose neck is the same size.
The hopper is universal and is listed for Mazzer, Fiorenzato, Faema, San Marco and Brasilia grinders. What decides the fit is the diameter of the grinder neck: measure it before ordering and, if needed, combine the hopper with the conical 57 to 60 mm support collar.
What capacity does it have?
Three litres, roughly 1.5 kg of beans, measuring 207 mm in diameter and 245 mm in height. That is the usual size for the main grinder on a busy bar, which then does not have to be refilled in the middle of the morning rush.
What is the body made of?
A transparent impact-resistant polymer. The transparency lets the bean level be read without lifting the lid, and the impact resistance avoids the cracking that appears on brittle hoppers after a few washes and moves.
How is it cleaned?
Once a week: take the hopper off, wash it in warm water with a mild detergent and use a soft cloth rather than metal scourers, which leave the body dull. Dry it completely before refitting, because moisture spoils the beans.
Can coffee be left in the hopper overnight?
