Single-phase safety thermostat, Tecasa brand (ref. SP011 CM/2), compatible with La Cimbali espresso machines. It cuts the power at 170 °C to prevent overheating and is manual-reset. It has a 900 mm capillary tube and a Ø 4 × 105 mm bulb.
By design. An automatic one would reconnect after cooling and the overheating would repeat. Manual reset forces you to find and fix the cause before reactivating it.
It trips often — is the thermostat at fault?
Usually not. Repeated trips point to abnormal overheating elsewhere. Check the operating thermostat and the boiler water level first.
Does it fit every La Cimbali?
It is intended for professional La Cimbali models with these specifications (Tecasa SP011, 900 mm capillary). Compare the reference and measurements with your current part.
What are the capillary and bulb sizes?
