Gicar flowmeter 1/4″ with LED — 1.15 mm jet, NSF certified
Part no. ET-100225
Gicar flowmeter with a 1/4″ connection and a calibrated 1.15 mm jet, counting the pulses of water sent to the group so the board can meter the volume of every coffee. It carries a diagnostic LED that blinks with each pulse and an open-collector electronic output, plus NSF certification for food contact. For automatic espresso machines with volumetric dosing.
It suits volumetric machines that use a 1/4″ flowmeter with a 1.15 mm jet and an open-collector output. Compare the thread, the jet and the connector with the current part.
What is the 1.15 mm jet for?
It is the calibrated orifice that sets how the turbine spins. It fixes how many pulses correspond to each millilitre, so a different jet throws every programmed dose out.
What is the LED for?
It gives a quick diagnosis: with coffee running, the LED blinks on every pulse. If water passes and the LED stays dark, the turbine or the output has failed and the dose never ends.
Which symptoms point to a fault?
Doses that drift between groups, coffee that runs on until you press stop, or a shot that suddenly comes up short. Scale or fine grounds jamming the turbine are the usual causes.
