Gicar flowmeter with a 1/8″ connection, 1.15 mm orifice, pulse LED and ±OUT connector, for volumetric dose control at each group. A direct-replacement part, matching the body, orifice and electrical connection the existing installation needs. It fits Sanremo Amalfi, Capri, Pisa, Torino, Verona and Zoe, Nuova Simonelli, and La Cimbali machines using this same connection.

Does it need reprogramming after fitting?
No. It keeps the body, the calibrated 1.15 mm orifice and the flowmeter connector, so the board reads the pulses with no reprogramming.
What does the 1.15 mm orifice change?
It is the calibre that sets the ratio between pulses and volume. Fitting a flowmeter with a different orifice shifts every stored dose, even if the thread matches.
Which symptoms point to a fault?
Coffee that will not stop at the programmed volume, doses that differ from group to group, or an LED that no longer blinks while water is running. A turbine seized by scale is a common cause.
