La Cimbali knob return spring — steam and water mechanism

Knob return spring for the La Cimbali steam and water tap, in stainless steel. It returns the knob to the closed position and prevents steam waste; a universal part for M32, M39, M53 and M100.
It is compatible with the M32, M39, M53, M100 family and equivalent platforms with a standard knob mechanism. If unsure, send a photo of the current spring.
What does this spring do?
It stores the energy to return the knob to the closed position when the grip is released, ensuring the tap closes completely.
What are the failure signs?
The knob does not return and stays open or ajar, play or wobble in the grip, or an unusually stiff control.
Does replacing the spring alone fix a leak?
Not always. If the gasket or O-ring are worn too, it is best to replace the whole tap sealing kit together.
