Flexible hose, 36 cm long, with a stainless steel outer braid, 3/8″ female and male threads and a conical connecting elbow. The braid acts as armour around the inner tube, containing pressure and tolerating the tight bends of an installation. The conical connection seals by contact, with no added sealant.

Where is this hose used?
It is the flexible link in the water circuit of a coffee machine: from the mains inlet to the pump, or from the pump to the boiler, depending on the installation.
What size and connections does it have?
It is 36 cm long with a 3/8″ thread, one female end and one male end, finishing in a conical elbow.
Does the conical end need PTFE tape?
No. The conical connection seals by contact between the surfaces, with no extra sealant. Tighten it firmly but without force, so the seat is not deformed.
What is the braid made of?
The outer braid is stainless steel, to withstand pressure and the tight bends of an installation.
When should it be replaced?
When damp or rust shows on the braid, when the hose turns stiff, or when it weeps at the unions. Do not wait for it to burst.
