Parker solenoid valve coil, model ZB09, for 24 V AC and 9 W, at 50/60 Hz. It mounts on the solenoid valve body and, when current flows through it, moves the plunger that opens or shuts the passage. A direct replacement for a burnt-out coil, without changing the whole valve.
It is the Parker ZB09 coil for 24 V AC. Confirm the voltage (24 V, not 230 V) and your solenoid valve model before ordering.
What does the coil do?
It is the electromagnet that, when it receives current, moves the internal plunger of the solenoid valve, opening or shutting the flow of water or steam.
Why the 24 V version?
The 24 V AC coil is for low-voltage control circuits, common on modern professional machines — safer than 230 V circuits.
How do I know the coil is burnt out?
If the valve is energised but does not open, the coil neither warms up nor 'clicks', or there is a burnt smell, the coil has failed and should be replaced.
