FAQ

Will it fit my boiler?
It suits boilers with a 3/8″ thread working below 2 bar, as used on Astoria, Bezzera, Brasilia, Carimali, Faema, La Cimbali, La Pavoni, La Spaziale, Nuova Simonelli, San Marco and Vibiemme machines. Confirm thread and setting on the current valve.
What does CE PED IV certification mean?
It means the valve was assessed under the European Pressure Equipment Directive in category IV, the most demanding one. That is the paperwork a café machine should be able to show at an inspection.
How much room does it need?
This is the compact version: 46 mm overall length across a 21 mm hex, made for boilers with little clearance between the shell and the bodywork.
When should it be replaced?
If it releases steam with the boiler below 2 bar, the seat or the seal has lost its grip. If scale has seized it, it will no longer lift at the right moment. Either way it is replaced — never repaired or blocked.
How do I order?
Give us the thread and the boiler working pressure through Request a quote and we will confirm the correct version, with availability and lead time. We ship from Portugal to the whole of Europe.
