Astoria / Wega pressure switch — 2 bar, 1/8″ thread
Part no. ET-100359
Normally closed pressure switch calibrated at 2 bar, with a 1/8″ male threaded connection and CE marking engraved on the body. It commands the boiler element according to steam pressure, holding the working value steady through the day. Fits Astoria Plus 4 You and Wega Concept.
Does it fit the Astoria Plus 4 You or Wega Concept?
Yes, it is specified for both models. Before ordering, check that the switch fitted uses a 1/8″ male thread and confirm the calibration value shown on the machine's plate.
What does a pressure switch do?
It reads the pressure inside the boiler and switches the heating element on or off to hold the set value. In practice it is the part that determines steam strength and the thermal stability of the boiler.
What does normally closed mean?
The contact rests closed and opens once pressure reaches the cut-out value, interrupting supply to the element. As pressure falls the contact closes again and heating resumes.
What are the symptoms of a worn pressure switch?
Weak or uneven steam, the safety valve lifting, an element that never switches off or cuts out too early, and a boiler gauge that wanders. All point to worn contacts or a scaled diaphragm.
How do I order?
Request a quote through the form, stating the make and model of the machine and the calibration pressure. We ship from Portugal to the whole of Europe.
