ODE three-way group solenoid valve, inline mount — 220 V, 1/8″ thread, for La Marzocco
Part no. ET-100222
ODE three-way solenoid valve, normally closed, for inline mounting, with 1/8″ connections in and out and a 1.5 mm orifice (DN). The 220/230 V coil controls the group water: it opens the path during extraction and releases residual pressure through the third port at the end of the cycle. It fits BFC, La Marzocco and Slayer machines.
It is designed for the group circuit on BFC, La Marzocco and Slayer machines. Check three things on the current valve: 1/8″ connections, 220/230 V coil and inline mounting on the tube.
Why three ways rather than two?
The third port is the exhaust. When the shot ends, the valve vents the pressure left above the coffee bed into the drip tray, leaving a dry puck and a portafilter that releases easily.
What is the 1.5 mm orifice?
It is the effective bore (DN). It sets the flow the valve passes and should match the group's existing valve — a different bore changes filling time.
Which symptoms point to a faulty valve?
A portafilter that drips after the shot, a soaking wet puck, a hiss at the group, or no audible click when the shot starts. A coil that hums and runs hot suggests a worn coil or core.
